Logan County Department of Public Health and Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital
Health Priorities: Smoking in pregnant women, drug and alcohol use in teens, and obesity (adult and childhood). The goal for each of these priorities is to reduce the proportion of smoking, drug and alcohol use, and obesity within the community.
Abraham County Memorial Hospital conducted a Community Health Needs Assessment and identified obesity, mental health, cancer, and substance abuse as health priorities for the county. Access to health care and education and access to resources on diabetes and cardiovascular disease are part of the priorities as well.
